You deserve it. Breastfeeding is hard work. The longer I live life as a mother, the more I am aware that it is up to me to celebrate my own successes. In doing this, I am giving my children permission to celebrate themselves and their successes too. It also helps us (and them) to learn to not get our acceptance or approval from others which can make us a slave to people pleasing. Think of the reward in honoring yourself… Authenticity, feeling whole and genuine! Hope you enjoy your parade…applause and all!
